Not many people know that in addition to the power (shutdown) button, the Start menu can also contain buttons for quick access to system settings, Explorer, Web, document folders, downloads, music, pictures, and videos, as shown in the screenshot below.

If you want to have access to the above items, follow our instructions.

  1. Go to the Settings of Windows 11 (press keys on keyboard: Windows + I).

How do I open Settings in Windows 11? A few convenient ways.

  1. In the Settings window that opens, click on the section "Personalization".
  2. Find the personalization settings subsection of the “Start” and go to it.

  1. In the Start settings, find the "Folders" item and click on it.

  1. You will see a list of all available items that can be placed next to the power button in the Start menu: Settings, File Explorer, Documents, Downloads, Music, Pictures, Videos, Network, Personal folder, located at C:\Users\your username.
  2. Move the sliders from the "Off" position to the "On" position in front of the folders and items you want to place next to the Shutdown/Reboot computer button.
